Myrna has over a decade of experience and expertise working with children, adolescents, and adults. She has helped many clients work through issues such as anxiety, self-efficacy, family transition, emotional dysregulation, grief, ADD/ADHD, and behavioral problems.
Myrna’s theoretical approach is Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), which utilizes solution-focused, play therapy, and sand tray techniques to help the client build insight and learn new coping skills to manage life’s challenges.
Myrna believes that the unique bond that is created between a therapist and client will inspire healing and help navigate the uncertainty of current world challenges through acceptance, empowerment, and kindness. She makes a warm, supportive and non-judgmental environment for her clients to build trust, gain self-acceptance, and become a better version of themselves.
Myrna resides in the DFW area with her husband and son. Myrna enjoys spending her spare time with her family and friends. Myrna also enjoys being in nature from catching bugs with her son or just enjoying the scenery on a walk or a bike ride.
