Joey Santos III is a Licensed Professional Counselor. He attended Texas Christian University and received a B.S. in Psychology. He attended graduate school at The University of Texas at Tyler and received a M.S. in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Neuropsychology.
Joey worked with UT Southwestern child and adolescent mood disorder research program where he researched biological and psychosocial effects of life stressors on mental health. He has experiencing working in a psychiatric hospital setting and has worked for a Dallas county community mental health clinic, providing counseling, skills training and psychosocial rehabilitation to children, adolescents, and adult populations.
Joey has worked with a broad spectrum of mental health diagnosis including: depression, anxiety, PTSD, and psychosis in both adolescent and adult therapy settings.
