Lewis Copeland is a Licensed Professional Counselor who received his Masters of Science in Counseling from Angelo State University. Lewis has worked primarily with foster children and their families. He has worked with children, adolescents, teens, and young adults in the foster care system dealing with issues such as; grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, and stress. Lewis has also worked with biological parents and foster parents who are struggling with the challenges of raising children, specifically within the foster care system.
Lewis believes in a client centered approach and believes the best outcomes come from a collaborative effort between client and therapist. He utilizes a variety of techniques to help the client achieve their goals while primarily relying on Cognitive-Behavioral and Solution-Focused Therapy approaches.
