Every Voice Deserves to Be Heard

Life’s challenges look different at every age.

For a child, they may show up as changes in behavior, struggles at school, or emotions that are difficult to express. For a teenager, they may feel like anxiety, self-doubt, family changes, or the pressure of trying to fit in. Adults often carry the weight of grief, stress, depression, trauma, or life transitions that can feel overwhelming.

Whatever has brought you here, Jennifer believes everyone deserves a place where they feel heard, understood, and accepted.

When people feel truly seen, healing can begin.

Helping Children, Teens & Adults Grow with Confidence

Jennifer is passionate about helping children, adolescents, and adults discover their strengths while building the confidence to navigate life’s challenges.

She works with children experiencing ADHD, behavioral and school concerns, anxiety, anger, grief, trauma, and family changes, partnering closely with parents to support healthy emotional development both at home and in school.

Jennifer also enjoys helping teenagers and adults navigate anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, grief, trauma, and life’s many transitions. Together, you’ll better understand what’s contributing to the challenges you’re facing while developing practical tools that encourage healing, resilience, and lasting growth.

Jennifer is committed to creating an affirming, welcoming environment where every client—including members of the LGBTQIA+ community—feels respected, valued, and supported.

Her passion is helping people of every age discover their strengths, find their voice, and move forward with greater confidence and hope.

Experience & Approach

Jennifer brings more than three decades of experience serving children, adolescents, adults, and families through both education and counseling. Her unique background allows her to understand how emotional well-being influences learning, relationships, confidence, and everyday life.

She earned a Master of Education in School Counseling and a Professional Certificate in Counseling and Development from Lamar University, building a strong foundation in supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families through life’s challenges.

Jennifer incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Sand Tray Therapy to create a counseling experience tailored to each client’s age, personality, strengths, and goals.

Whether helping a child express emotions through play, supporting a teenager through life’s transitions, or guiding an adult through grief, anxiety, or family changes, Jennifer creates a counseling experience that is warm, collaborative, and filled with hope.

She believes every person has unique strengths waiting to be discovered. Her role is to help clients recognize those strengths, build resilience, and move forward with greater confidence.

Getting to Know Jennifer

Jennifer treasures spending time with her family, especially her children and grandson. She enjoys traveling and has explored unforgettable destinations including Rome, Ireland, Puerto Rico, and many beautiful beaches.

She also enjoys spending time outdoors, participating in and supporting local Pride events, and creating meaningful memories with the people she loves. Jennifer believes some of life’s greatest lessons come through relationships, shared experiences, and remaining curious about the world around us.

Those same qualities—warmth, patience, and genuine compassion—shape every counseling relationship she builds. Jennifer considers it a privilege to walk alongside children, adolescents, adults, and families as they discover hope, overcome life’s challenges, and create brighter futures.

Jennifer’s Counseling Philosophy
