Hope Through Life’s Hardest Seasons

Some seasons of life feel heavier than others.

You may be trying to recover from something painful, manage overwhelming emotions, rebuild after addiction, grieve a loss, or find stability during a time when life feels uncertain.

Whatever brought you here, Elaine believes you deserve a place where you feel safe, accepted, and supported.

Healing begins when you no longer have to carry the hardest parts of your story alone.

Supporting Healing Through Life’s Most Difficult Seasons

Elaine is passionate about helping adolescents, adults, and families navigate difficult and complex challenges with compassion, patience, and hope.

She works with people healing from abuse, assault, trauma, grief, addiction, divorce, blended family concerns, and major life transitions. She understands that these experiences can affect your sense of safety, your relationships, your confidence, and your ability to move forward.

Elaine also supports clients who are working to find stability while managing intense emotions, distressing thoughts, panic, or long-term mental health challenges. Her approach is steady, respectful, and focused on helping clients build practical tools for daily life while strengthening hope for the future.

She is committed to creating an affirming, welcoming space for members of the LGBTQIA+ community, where every client is treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.

Her passion is helping people move from simply surviving difficult seasons toward greater stability, resilience, connection, and hope.

Experience & Approach

Elaine brings a compassionate, person-centered approach to counseling, recognizing that every person’s story is unique and every path toward healing looks different.

She incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment-Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Family Systems Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to thoughtfully tailor therapy to each client’s needs, strengths, and goals.

In everyday terms, Elaine helps clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and coping patterns while developing tools that support healing, stability, and meaningful change.

Whether someone is processing trauma, rebuilding after addiction, navigating family changes, coping with grief, or learning how to manage overwhelming emotions, Elaine creates a counseling experience grounded in safety, trust, and hope.

Her passion is helping clients feel accepted for who they are, supported through where they’ve been, and encouraged by what is still possible.

Getting to Know Elaine

Elaine believes that genuine connection, compassion, and authenticity are just as important outside the counseling office as they are within it.

She enjoys spending time with her spouse, Julie, their friends, and their three beloved dogs—Abby, Emmy-Lou Harris, and Willie Nelson. Whether she’s cheering on the Texas Tech Red Raiders, spending time outdoors, or picking up her clarinet, Elaine appreciates the simple moments that bring joy, balance, and connection.

Those same values shape the counseling relationships she builds every day. Elaine considers it a privilege to walk alongside adolescents, adults, and families as they discover hope, heal from life’s challenges, and move toward a healthier future.

Elaine’s Counseling Philosophy

“No matter how difficult today may feel, healing is possible when you feel safe, accepted, and supported by someone willing to walk beside you every step of the way.”
